The 2023 International Congress on Ultrasonics in Beijing (the 2023 ICU BEIJING) is the 8th worldwide meeting of the ultrasonics community continuing a long tradition of Ultrasonics International conferences (organized biennially from 1963 to 2005 as well as World Congresses on Ultrasonics (organized every two years from 1995 to 2005). The biennial sequence of the ICU Congresses started in 2007 in Vienna and visited Santiago de Chile, Gdansk, Singapore, Metz, Honolulu, and Bruges thereafter. After the 2021 ICU has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to announce that the 2023 ICU will be held in Beijing of China in an online and offline hybrid way from 18 Sept to 21 Sept 2023.

ICU is globally renowned for presenting and publishing cutting-edge research on all aspects of ultrasonics. The Congress aims to bring together professionals and experts from academia, industry, and government in all disciplines of ultrasonics, to exchange achievements and experience in Biomedical Ultrasound, Industrial Ultrasound, Nondestructive Evaluation, Physical Acoustics, Emerging Fields, etc.
